글로벌 플레이을 할 때 플레이어들은 디아블로가 가능한 모든 지역에서 캐릭터를 만들고, 친구 목록을 세우며 아이템을 모으면서 골드 경매장을 이용할 수 있습니다. 다른 지역으로 접속하기 위해서는 간단히 로그인 화면에서 "옵션"버튼을 누르고 "계정"탭을 선택한 다음 "지역"에서 플레이하기를 원하는 지역을 선택하면 됩니다.

글로벌 플레이를 패치 후에 하려면...

글로벌 플레이는 여러분의 원래 지역과 같은 버전으로 동작되는 다른 지역으로만 접속이 가능합니다. 그 결과로, 여러분들은 패치나 게임 업데이트가 공개된 후 짧은 기간동안 다른 서버에서의 글로벌 플레이를 할 수 없을 수도 있습니다. 이것은 다른 지역에서는 다른 날짜에 패치가 이루어지기 때문입니다.

 

글로벌 플레이와 현금 경매장

플레이어들은 골드 경매장을 모든 글로벌 플레이 지역(미주, 유럽 그리고 아시아)에서 사용이 가능합니다. 하지만 현금 경매장은 오직 여러분의 원래 지역에서만 가능합니다. 이것은 타지역의 캐릭터들은 현금 경매장에서 아이템을 거래할 수 없다는 뜻입니다. 예를 들어서 여러분이 미주 지역에서 접속하고 계신다면 여러분은 유럽이나 아시아의 캐릭터로는 현금 경매장에 접근할 수 없습니다.

With Global Play, players can create characters, set up friends lists, gather items, and use the gold-based auction house in every region where Diablo III is available. To access another region, simply click on the "Options" button from the login screen, select the "Account" tab, and then choose which region you want to play in from the "Regions" drop-down.

There are a few restrictions to keep in mind when using Global Play: 

Using Global Play After a Patch
Global Play can only be used to connect to other regions that are running the same version of Diablo III as your home region. As a result, you may be unable to log into other regions using Global Play for a short period of time after a patch or game update has been released. This is because different regions will often be patched on different days. 

Global Play and the Real-Money Auction House
While players can use the gold auction house in all Global Play regions (the Americas, Europe, and Asia), the real-money auction house will only be available when playing in your "home region." This means that, for characters outside of your home region, items cannot be bought or sold in any real-money auction house. If your home region is the Americas, for example, you will not be able to access the real-money auction house on characters you create in Europe or Asia.
