Thanks to everyone who submitted maps for the Warcraft III Melee Map Contest! There were many creative and innovative maps, making the selection process a very difficult one. After much debate and internal play testing of the maps, the winning maps have finally been selected!
Winners will be receiving iPods and other signed Blizzard memorabilia, as indicated on the prize page:

The winning maps are as follows:
1 vs 1 Map
1st place Road to Stratholme
2nd place Melting Valley
2 vs 2 Map
1st place Tidewater Glades (renamed from Mystic Island)
2nd place Centaur Grove
These maps are also being reviewed for their inclusion into the current Warcraft III Map Pool with Patch 1.22.
The community will be able to download these winning maps as a part of Patch 1.22 or in a separate update, if the specific map is not included in the patch.
